IT'S TIME TO GET STARTED

Growing as a disciple of Jesus is a life-long process. It takes consistency, time, and commitment.
Take the next step to grow as a disciple of Jesus personally and in community with others. We are not meant to live life alone.

DISCIPLESHIP RHYTHMS

DAILY DEVOTION (Matthew 4:4; Acts 2:42; Hebrews 4:12)
Spend time reading and reflecting on God’s Word daily.
Seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit to understand what we read and apply it to our lives.

PRAYER (Matthew 6:9-13; Acts 2:42)
Talking to God is important. Prayer is a conversation with God where we talk with Him, bring our requests before Him, and ask questions. Another part of prayer is listening to God’s voice. Prayer is meant to be done individually and in community with others.

CONFESSING OUR SINS (Acts 2:37-39; Matthew 6:12-13)
In the Scriptures we are instructed to confess our sins to God and ask for His forgiveness.
Through the help of the Spirit, we are to turn from our sin and live more like Christ.

INCREDIBLE GENEROSITY (2 Corinthians 9:7; Acts 2:44-45; Malachi 3:10)
Giving communicates that we are dependent on God. He has entrusted us with everything we have. God has been generous to us and He desires that we use the resources we have to partner with Him in His work of ministry through the local church and to the whole world.

SERVING (Acts 2:44-45; 1 Peter 4:10-11)
Each one of us is equipped with certain gifts to be used for God’s glory both in His Church and in the world. Your gifts are meant to be used through serving in the Kingdom.

SHARING THE GOSPEL (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Philemon 1:6)
God gives us the greatest gift: Salvation through His Son, Jesus. Each one of us has a unique story of the work He has done in our lives. Sharing His story with others shows the power of God to save us and transform our lives. His story is meant to be shared. God commands us to share the good news of the Gospel with others.

WORSHIP TOGETHER (Hebrews 10:25; Acts 2:26-28, 46-47)
Worship is a continual pattern of revelation and response. As we get to know God and learn more about Him, we respond in praise to who He is and what He has done for us. He is the only one who deserves our worship. In Scripture we see a command to worship together, and from house to house. This is why we worship in community on Sundays and in our homes throughout the week.

BUILD ONE ANOTHER UP (1 Thess. 5:11, Proverbs 27:17)
Surround yourself with others who will challenge your faith and hold you accountable to the way
you live like Christ through your actions and words.
